Acceptable Use Policies
The purpose of this Voltus Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is to outline the acceptable and prohibited uses of the website(s) (the “Sites”) as well as the cloud-based platform and system that collects energy data (the “Services”) provided and maintained by Voltus by visitors to the Sites and authorized users of the Services.
The following activities and uses are prohibited:
- Violating or attempting to violate applicable laws and government regulations, including but not limited to, intellectual property and data privacy;
- Infringement or misappropriation of third-party intellectual property rights;
- Permitting unauthorized access to the Services;
- Uploading, transmitting or transferring any data, files or other material that may contain viruses, worms, malware, spyware, Trojan horses or any other programs that may be harmful or dangerous;
- Engaging in any offensive, indecent, threatening, deceptive, fraudulent or otherwise objectionable behavior, including but not limited to falsifying identity by “spoofing or“phishing” or impersonating another individual or entity;
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access by deactivating, bypassing or otherwise circumventing security, monitoring mechanisms or software protection;
- Redirecting, intercepting or otherwise interfering with any communication or data for any purpose;
- Using the Sites and/or Services for a purpose not intended or permitted under the applicable Voltus Agreement.
The list above is not exhaustive and Voltus may take any and all lawful action it deems appropriate, including suspension or termination of an individual user’s access to the Sites and/or Services, in order to prevent or terminate any fraud, abuse or illegal use of or activities in connection with the SItes and Services.
This AUP may be updated by Voltus from time to time and individuals should refer back to this page regularly for the most up-to-date version.
