About the Role
Voltus is growing rapidly, and Lead Generation plays a critical role in fueling that growth. We are looking for a Lead Generation Specialist who can lead a small team to continuously source the best leads and serve them up to our sales team. This individual will partner closely with sales leaders and also provide additional direct support to our Inside Sales team. This is a fully remote position that offers a high degree of autonomy.
Lead Generation Job Responsibilities
- Create monthly goals for the team to achieve and execute on the overall lead generation strategy. This includes project management of all lead generation projects.
- Hire, retain, and manage our Lead Generation team
- Own the lead and account management process, data population, distribution, and hygiene
- Be a subject matter expert on our customers and the sales qualification process and approach
- Lead weekly check-ins with Inside Sales leaders to manage lead strategy and execute on that strategy
- Maniacally focus on proactively identifying gaps or opportunities for lead generation improvements in collaboration with Sales leaders & Sales Productivity teammates including through observation of sales successes and shortfalls, analyzing lead metrics, conferring with Sales leaders, and acting on team feedback.
- Continually improving and driving process automations wherever possible
- Develop and implement new tools and processes in such areas as lead scoring and qualification, including both internally developed (e.g., Excel) or externally sourced solutions
- Maintain Inside Sales tools, including tracking adoption and recommending approaches for improving adoption where needed
- Serve as a conduit between the Sales team and subject matter experts in other parts of the organization (e.g., Engineering and Energy markets teams) by triaging Sales team needs that require involvement from beyond the Lead Generation and Sales Productivity function.
- Provide ad-hoc coaching for Sales team members where necessary (e.g., use of tools).
- Identify gaps in Sales training and support implementation of improvements.
- Collaborate on Salesforce data quality process development and improvement efforts, including policing data requirements in both Salesforce and other tools.
- Collaborate with other Sales Operations team members to share best practices and solve joint challenges.
Lead Generation Skills and Qualifications
- Desire to become a process guru to support Marketing and Sales efforts, including developing and managing our lead generation processes
- Maniacally self-initiated; extreme attention to detail

- Excellent project management skills
- Proficiency at or desire to learn Salesforce CRM

The Role

The energy markets team is responsible for helping our customers profit from their involvement in energy markets. Sales Associate (Remote)
The Company
Voltus is the leading platform connecting distributed energy resources to electricity markets, delivering less expensive, more reliable, and more sustainable electricity. Our commercial and industrial customers and grid services partners generate cash by allowing Voltus to maximize the value of their flexible load, distributed generation, energy storage, energy efficiency, and electric vehicle resources in these markets.
The Role
The Sales Associate is the rocket fuel that drives our sales organization. Sales Associates join our Sales Associate Development program where they learn to cold call prospective customers, promote Voltus’s value proposition, and work hand-in-hand with our Sales Directors to set up meetings and close deals that bring more cash to customers and better energy for the world.

Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Sales Managers and Directors to set sales meetings
- Prospect for new business, develop relationships with key decision-makers, understand customer needs, and report on account activity
- Identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources including prospect lists, discovery, and individual research
- Meet or exceed sales objectives for your energy market
- Accept inbound and perform outbound telephone calls to identify sales opportunities.

Compensation
- $55,000 base salary, $94,000 OTE in Year One
- Eligible for additional monthly bonuses and equity

The Role
We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Partnerships Program Manager to help us grow our residential grid services programs. Residential grid services are a rapidly growing segment at Voltus and across the industry. This exciting opportunity will provide exposure to all aspects of developing and managing residential virtual power plants from developing new programs with partners to recruiting households into the programs to ensuring we have all of the data needed for enrollment into market programs to tracking and reporting on performance and payments. This role will be at the center of a cross-functional team of sales, product management, operations, legal, finance and energy markets working to launch, manage and continuously improve residential virtual power plants.
This is a remote role and you can work from anywhere, with the ability to hold meetings with coworkers and stakeholders during continental US-based business hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and manage multiple programs to ensure they hit growth targets and meet partner expectations
- Project manage program launches and end customer recruitment to established deadlines, coordinating cross-functionally across the company
- Use data analysis to drive strategic action that facilitates growth and improves processes
- Problem solve to find workarounds when issues arise
- Perform market analysis to support growth into new areas and improve Voltus’s residential offerings
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional analytical skills, including data analysis and reporting on energy, marketing and financial metrics
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work product
- Ability to self initiate and thrive in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment
- A strong background in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Google Suite products
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple programs simultaneously
- Ability to work cross functionally to problem solve and keep internal and external stakeholders aligned and working towards established goals
- Takes initiative to establish new processes and refine existing processes
- Undergraduate college degree required
- 1-3 years experience in program management or similar role
- Exhibited interest in the energy and/or climate space
